About Us

When you are looking for something as important as quality, value and excellence, you should know the background of the professional you choose to represent your best interests. When it comes to your Automobile, those same factors are just as important!

Frank Montelongo, Owner of San Francisco Auto Body & Frame Repair located at 16 S. Wilson Way in downtown Stockton, has been a preferred provider of auto body repair offering the best quality service, along with excellent value and dependability by repairing every vehicle with the same high standard of quality.

Born and raised in San Francisco, California, Frank's interest in cars began at a young age. In the 1960's he would spend time hanging out with his brother and friends who at the time were into "hot-rods." There were always different types of unique cars in the driveway. His uncle, who was a mechanic, taught him a lot about the trade.

Frank began his education and formal training in high school where he entered a (4) year Apprenticeship through the Regional Occupational Program in San Mateo. Upon graduating as a Journeyman Bodyman, he worked locally in and around the Bay Area for a while as a Manager and Foreman. In 1980, he moved to Stockton and went to work for Big Valley Ford.

In 1982, he had the opportunity to start-up his own business. He set-up shop and opened the doors in a 2000 sp. ft building located then on Main Street. In 1985, with the success of his business, he was able to expand his company. He purchased and renovated the 5400 sq. ft building from the Pepsi Cola Company which serves as his present location today.
